i think i need to date this summer. like it’s over. i caught myself thinking, why would i possibly hate all of the happy looking friend groups i see, if i have friends to hang out with? well, i’m not dating anyone. what i want is connections with an opportunity for, like, dating. or something. i want to kiss somebody this year. ideally more than once. i think this is it. i need to go on this mission, i’ve tried before but i need to really try this summer, frankly i’ve done enough other self-improvement, i have nowhere else to go from here. i need this

i don’t listen to preachers daughter very much because it’s so intense, it makes me feel sick (ha!), im not sure if im being overdramatic about it but the way a lot of people talk about it feels so strange to me. people are always posting their like strangers heated rivalry amv and like no i just don’t think thats what’s going on there. i don’t think thats what that song is about. i saw a girl tweet once “listening to preachers daughter but im a lesbian so im rolling my eyes and pretending all the ‘he’s are ‘she’s” what? what? what? what? what?
