you know what my favorite part of gone girl was? when Amy was eating. When she was dead and gone and happy and she was eating eating eating so much junk. It’s such a small thing. It’s not subtle, but it’s subdued. What do women look like when they are free? They EAT. They catch up on all that was denied them. They live. And I can just hear the number of fucking dumb ass men going “it’s not that deep” and you just don’t understand. You don’t understand how immediately true those scenes were.
