So this is an older au I have that still needs a lot of flushing out but here’s what I have so far!

So the basic idea of this au is the tribe’s territories are swapped somewhat at random, as well as the tribe’s reputations and stereotypes. However, no other drastic change is made, so all dragons must still keep their body type and scale tones (mostly). (here’s the best chart I have for it)

Nightwings take the place of Rainwings

Rainwings  take the place of Sandwings

Sandwings  take the place of Mudwings

Mudwings take the place of Nightwings

but also relevant is:

 Skywings take the place of Seawings 

Seawings take the place of Icewings 

Icewings take the place of Skywings 

This all looks complicated but ultimately plays out pretty simply! The way the tribes work is fundamentally changed, but also importantly changed is the way they interact with the other tribes and the changes in their roles in the war of Sandwing Succession (now Rainwing Succession, starring Princess Magnificent, Princess Fruitbat, and Princess Exquisite as Blister, Blaze, and Burn respectively). The story follows the first arc DoD, and the book order and prophecy is also changed (still working on sorting out those two)

I’ll be doing individual posts for the tribes, titled Swapped (insert tribe). All stuff for this au will be under the tag Swapped Tribes AU ^^.

hello sorry for inactivity but ive been Dying for the past few days over this one part of the new book.

“You’re a mind reader,” he reminded her. “All you have to do is walk around the school until you hear someone’s mind going, ‘well done, me; tip-top explosion I caused today; aren’t I a clever arsonist.”

One of the best scenes from the book, definitely.

Basically it started with Clearsight heading to the lost continent and she took a crew of one of each tribe (except the Pantala ones) on a boat.

They pulled a Christopher Columbus and landed in the wrong place thinking it was the right place.

They land on the island of Berk and realize how different the dragons and scavengers are. They face different obstacles yada yada yada. They try their best to communicate with scavengers.
