I don't actually think Jayfeather will die in False Dawn or whatever because they love keeping protagonists alive forever and if ex-protagonist on the cover = death every time Squirrelstar would be dead and Brambleclaw would've died a lot sooner and etc, but as someone who's been rereading bits of po3 and OOTS lately all I can think is PLEAASE PLEAAAASE LET HIM DIE I HATE THAT MAN

(which is really a good example of the overall issue with Jayfeather, which is that these books seem to think he's just quirky and snarky and blunt and funny and this is a charming "Jayfeather is so grumpy lolz" story without thinking about how horrific it is!!! The dude was complaining about Squirrelstar after one of her kits from this litter died and another was actively dying!)

Xurkitree/Groudon pokemon fusion oc idea idk. The tragedy of your top two fav pokemon being wildly different designs is that it's really difficult to put them in a blender cohesively. Trying hard to think of a name for it but names are hard

I have no motivation to finish the full body sketch I have for this one right now, but I also have an idea for The Opposite Direction of Groudon/Xurkitree fusion

#there's no way to perfectly combine the design traits I really like in both pokemon but #that's why it's fun to have more than one funny fusion oc!

I wish Sparrowtail warriors had died soooo bad. Canon Sparrowtail is just "I had no choice 🥺 I had to help my evil awful irredeemable* wife but I'm sorry now 🥺 I'm a sad little guy I won't do it again" but I was hoping his spinelessness would ultimately end in him attacking Sunbeam and being like "why won't you just do the EASY THING and work with us!!!" and getting killed for it. this would be an improvement because Sparrowtail would be worse and then dead.

#(*picking on the books here when I say this btw. Not that Berryheart isn't cruel and in the wrong but like #it's annoying that Berryheart's arc ends as it does while Sparrowtail who's followed her all along gets away #with minimal consequences because he said sowwy I won't do it again)
