    Leorio couldn’t help but agree with the other; while he knew their intentions were in good faith, he hoped, but hearing that news come from someone that wasn’t Kurapika…it hit different for Leorio, especially concerning what just happened for Kurapika to land in the hospital.

    Sighing, Leorio guided Kurapika to the couch and sat them both down, “I know that I can’t stop you from doing your police work; you’re stubborn as Hell and that’s part of the reason why I fell in love with you…but it’s not just you and me now…” Leorio felt his eyes fall to the ground as he knew what he was implying could piss Kurapika off.

    Leorio kept his his hand over Kurapika’s, “I know that the bastard only knocked you out but…that bastard could’ve done something to your…or them,” Leorio’s grip on Kurapika’s hand tightened slightly.

     “I just…please tell me you didn’t know before all that shit happened…”

    He let Leorio lead them to the couch, letting his mind wonder for a bit. He had a feeling he was about to get chewed out or something about being reckless, and he hated that he was right when he began speaking again after a moment. It was a proper reaction now honestly it was completely in his right to get upset that he would get upset, it wasn’t just the two of them now. 

    Kurapika knew what he was doing, he was being careful, he wasn’t pushing himself too far and he knew his proper limits. He only took on things he knew he could handle and with this past mission, he was positive he could handle it. Of course the unexpected had happened but it hadn’t been the worst, the worst was almost impossible in that situation since he had been pretty much surrounded.

    Walking into their place at Full Complex, Leorio felt himself almost drift into the living area and sit down. His mind was on overdrive with everything: his boyfriend being in the police force, his boyfriend being knocked out while on a case; all the while he was…he still couldn’t believe that someone else from the police force told him instead of Kurapika. What was he waiting for? Did he think that Leorio wouldn’t want something like that?

     Leorio felt his mouth dry up as he knew his voice needed to say something…but he knew that he couldn’t be angry right now, “K-Kurapika…I love you. Please remember that. And…I know,” Leorio slowly sat up and went to hug him.

      Running his hands through Kurapika’s hair, Leorio knew that being vague also wasn’t going to help, “I’m…fucking over the moon that we’re gonna be a family…and to twins!? H-How in the hell did we manage that!?” Leorio voice cracked and a large grin glowed on his face and he hugged his boyfriend harder.

     Thinking that he was being too forceful, “Sh-shit! Sorry!”

    Kurapika was unsure on how he felt at the moment. He was upset, but who he was upset with he didn’t know really. So much had happened in the past 48 hours, good and bad, but mostly possibly considerably bad for him. He’d been knocked out while on a case he shouldn’t have been on due to his current condition, his boyfriend had been told of his condition before he had to chance to tell him himself, and he had just found out that he was with twins.

    “I know.... I don’t think I’ll ever be able to forget that.” Was his reply as Leorio held. Feeling his hand run through his hair was soothing and it helped calm all his nerves for the moment, letting his fated pair finish speaking his mind before he replied to anything else. Shaking his head slightly as he was quick to apologize for hugging him too tight.

“Don’t leave.”

“Don’t touch me.”

“Don’t run away.”

“Don’t scream.”

“Don’t regret your choices.”

“Don’t come back.”

“Don’t make promises you can’t keep.”

“Don’t betray me.”

“Don’t you see that this is a mistake?”

“Don’t they know it is a trap?”

“Don’t talk like that.”

“Don’t make the same mistakes I did.”

“Don’t lose sight of what is important.”

“Don’t lie to me.”

“Don’t test my loyalty to them.”

“Don’t think you can get away with this.”

“Don’t trust them.”

“Don’t do that!”

“Don’t jump.”

“Don’t you trust me?”

“Don’t believe in ‘happily ever after,’ it doesn’t exist.”

“Don’t think that this fixes everything.”

“Don’t give me that look.”

“Don’t sing. Please.”

     Hearing the officers, Yusuke couldn’t help but flashback to the plotting stages of Palace infiltration when the Phantom Thieves were active. Looking around the room, he realized that he was surrounded by adults, but something in him told the artist that these adults wouldn’t have any worries of forming a Palace. There was one that had a certain vibe to him, but that was for another time.

     Nodding his head, Yusuke couldn’t help but agree with Uchiha-san’s assessment of the ticket and brochure. Susano-o told him that he should also volunteer to help investigate but Yusuke thought that it was not the right time; his artistic talents are much more needed than his combative abilities…and it seemed that the ones already volunteering seemed much more capable than himself.

      Hearing Ai-san’s comment next, Yusuke couldn’t help the small smirk that appeared on his face, “Ai-san, I do not believe that I could, as you put it, ‘show you up.’”

     “Though please let me know if I am overstepping my bounds; I just wish to help out as much as possible.” Yusuke knew that he could be a little brash and blunt, but he liked to think that he was getting better

    Kurapika eyed everyone carefully, listening to everything they each said and nodding in agreement with Sasuke. They needed to check every area, circled or not. The only problem was they were short staffed right now with him being benched from going on the field.

    “We may need some people going solo for surveillance.” He sighed softly, not liking the idea, but they needed to act fast to stop the killer and he knew everyone here was strong enough to handle themselves long enough until back up arrived if they did have a run in. He was honestly just more worried about fighting taking place within partners than anything else. 

     The timing of Yusuke’s fall into Wonderland and this apparent serial killer was just not in the cards for him. Granted, he had some experience dealing with killers, but more so the cognitive kind, so he didn’t know how much of his past experience would be helpful. But that wasn’t going to stop him. He was a Phantom Thief, and he’s faced worse.

     Entering the debriefing room, Yusuke could tell already that the room was tense, and he couldn’t blame them. From what he had heard in the short amount of time he was in Wonderland, he knew this place to be peaceful with some petty drama here and there, but nothing like this.

     He waited until a couple of his senior spoke before he raised his hand, “If I may interject Aqua-senpai and Ai-senpai? I am fairly new to Wonderland so I am not entirely in the know on everything, but if I could, I would like to see the calling card and see if there is any writings on it that I can look at. While handwriting is not the same as a brush stroke, there are enough similarities that I can hopefully be of some assistance. Also if we have any reports of facial markings or stature, I would like to see them in order to start an initial sketch to help track this…’person’ down.”

    There is a cool air around Yusuke as he speaks, but there is hint of a fire under his words…as if he has dealt with something akin to this before.

    “No, he’s not just attacking in Jokeo. He’s moving all over the place it seems like. There doesn’t seem to be any real motive at the moment or even a link to the victims so far. It just seems like he’s attacking randomly but hopefully once we can interview people we’ll find links.” 

    Kurapika answered Ai’s and Aquas question as he pulled the photo that Deputy Jaxon had sent him of the train ticket and the brochure along with an evidence bag of one of the cards they had recently found. Sliding the evidence bag over to their newest member of the PD.
