..but later, he did draw Sasuke saving another Uzumaki who, as we all know, fell for him hard

  If I see one more post about how Sakura’s love saved Sasuke I am going to snap why can’t blacklisting work for mobile app why oh why!

  Sasuke was going down a dark path. Hell, he was becoming leader down that path. He was so close to being swallowed by loneliness and anger and revenge, beyond help

  yet Naruto never gave up on him. Naruto saved his stupid ass from himself and Sasuke knows it. 

  “You saved me.” Not, “You and Sakura-” not “You and the others-” not “you all-“

  Naruto saved Sasuke. Sakura saved his life medically, but emotionally and mentally, where Sasuke needed it most, Naruto did that. 

  While in the beginning Sakura’s frienship was important to Sasuke, her love was never enough for him. It wasn’t enough to stay in the village or take her with him, it wasn’t enough to keep him from trying to kill her, it wasn’t enough throughout the whole series. 

  Naruto’s “because you’re my friend” speeches? cut deep with this kid and saved him.
