It seems that I’ve mostly seen “x is for lazy people” about things that make work primarily done by women easier. I haven’t seen a lot of posts about “chain saws are for lazy people” or “who even needs power drills/power screwdrivers/power hammers anyway?” Because those are male-coded tools, and efficiencies gained by using those are considered good and smart. Even if the power drill is used once a year and sits in the basement the other 364 days, it will be seen as more of an investment in efficiency than getting a dishwasher. Which goes into a whole thing about how women’s time and work is valued, relative to men’s.
