Even my country is still in crisis after one of the most corrupted prime ministers had been taken down, the remnants and new exploiters are still in there and the citizens get pushed double than before. I feel so worried about the future. I’m worried that one day, there’s not going to be any freedom what so ever. I just hope people realized this fast and those who have the power to stop this madness will start to wake up. Minors can do so much that we are possible to do

It’s funny how y'all will reblog any and all US things but when whole Europe might lose access to internet then everything is quiet.

You can sign the petition even if you are non-European. I recommend you do, as many of us fan content creators are indeed in Europe. We would also lose access to non-European fan creations, meaning less readers, less fans and less customers for your home-made merch, commissions and such for you.

I’m reblogging this to FUZZY as this is extremely important. If I lose access to Tumblr, you will lose access to FUZZY. I would most likely even lose access to Webtoons, as it does have fan comics! Not to mention Patreon is not safe from this either.

As a europpean fanartist, I’m directly affected by this shit. Give it some of your time if you can.

Taxing links surely goes against the whole principal of what the internet was meant to be when it was conceived as an idea. This will also end up censoring  out those that can’t afford to make links to other sources.

Blanket filtering is going to err on the side of caution. If something isn’t government approved, why risk it? This is going to lead to state sanctioned media akin to the former Soviet states. This is dangerous.

This is literally SOPA on steroids!

Sure this is bad for the EU… but can’t people outside the EU just ignore the law? Surely, people in the U.S. at the high level will be mad about this. People in Australia will be mad about this. People in Russia and Africa and everywhere that has access to the internet… they will not go along with this. I guess I’m just holding out hope for a future we may never have.
