The Mind of Evil

To be useful and protect the empire without a crest, Adia chose to research the Agarthan's technology, body swapping, and crestology. Her research led her to strange places. Eventually she found a ritual, with coiling wings and a flaming crown. Adia combined this with the technology to swap a body and the magic her father taught her when she was younger. After all the empire had would not have won the war had the Argarthans not helped.

One of the mysteries that would be on-going in the Post Crimson Flower route - now named Scorched Glades - is what happened to Adia Von Vestra to change her. And why are Vestras not telling Avery. Honestly I really love this little plot hook - lots of drama potential!

Gameplay notes: Because Byleth's child Avery would be a lot less useful in the Scorched Glades route given that Byleth lost the crest of flames and didn't pass it down, Adia - as a Crimson Flower unique unit - would be a monster on the battlefield. She would be able to use the technology of Agartha as well as dark and black magic. I imagine she's a bit of a glass canon but has a special feat where she can put up an Agarthan defensive barrier for herself, to add to her usefulness. If put beside a unit with high support who has a lot of defence (maybe like a high def build of Wilhelm?), she would be a very strong unit indeed.

Design notes: Honestly after deciding that she would be unnerving and interested Argathan stuff, her design just fell into place.
