like grace's first time meeting with simon is really simon's last meeting with grace or last day alive

and his last meeting with simon is simon's first time meeting with grace, so basically opposite directions and they meet in the middle of it

ok... i wasn't sure where i was going with this but i am feeling kinda angsty so–

Even worse with the fact that Simon probably didn’t know it was a cult until Grace told him 😭

Grace would probably feel a lot of sadness. You don’t choose your upbringing, and Simon definitely was a child soldier.

What puts Simon apart though is I believe he comes to realize that in the sub or even knew before hand what he was apart of was wrong, though like a toxic relationship or upbringing, it’s very very difficult to just up and leave especially with how fucked Simon’s universe is. “I got tattooed by Eden, C.O.I burned it off. I didn’t have a say in either,” Is along the lines of what he said in the movie.

He never really had a choice. He’s never known freedom.

Through Grace, he’d discover himself and make his own choices. I don’t think Grace would ever need to tell him. Simon’s smart enough to put two and two together. He gets to decide who he is. Who he wants to be. Not a convict. Not the Butcher. Just Simon.

Eridian parents that don't really have anyone to leave their kids with when they're still too little to be left alone so they just dress them up in a Xenonite suit and leave them in the dome because they know that Grace will take care of the kids as best as he can

So sometimes Grace's dome will be filled with Eridian toddlers/kindergardeners that aren't even in his class just chilling on the beach and playing in the sand

AN AU WHERE HE, ROCKY AND ADRIAN GO TRAVELLING WITH THE DOCTOR (IF ITS THE 11TH THEN HE AND GRACE BOND OVER ASEXUALITY) AND MAYBE RUN INTO SIMON IRON LUNG!?

Possible addition to the previous fanfic idea

THE DOCTOR AND SIMON BOND OVER THEIR PLANET DEATHS! BUT THE DOCTOR IS WARY ABOUT BRINGING A POSSIBLY MURDEROUS SOLDIER ON BOARD AT FIRST (THEY MAY HAVE FOUND THE BLACK BOX?) BUT GRACE COVINCES THEM TO LET HIM ON BOARD. (Maybe they save his universe too afterall, grqce rocky save stars once whats one more?)

(I'm not immune to coltland twin propaganda or simon being from the canon au universe or pocket dimention i cant remember from that one doctor who episode with the collected distress calls and patchwork people, the one where the tardis becomes a human(?))

At this point i might just write the fucking thing myself.

And it's a way to bring Simon into the PHM-verse. It's not an alternate universe, it's an alternate timeline. What if the beetles didn't make it back to Earth? That's when all the stars go out due to Astrophage and the planets die out, leading to the Iron Lung verse. One day, the Doctor is traveling around and is shocked when they find out that the stars and planets are dead and gone. So they and their companion (depending on which Doctor we're talking about) go to investigate.

For some reason (wibbly-wobbly timey wimey shit), they don't end up at the time the stars go out, they end up at the blood moon and rescue Simon. They then take Simon with them to find out what went wrong. Because in the Doctor's timeline, Dr. Ryland Grace and Rocky the Eridian were supposed to have saved the stars with the Taumoeba. The Doctor gets the TARDIS to take them to Erid. There, they meet up with Grace and Rocky. They agree to travel with the Doctor to find out what happened. Adrian insists on coming with them because they're not going to be apart from their mate again. The Doctor is like 'the more, the merrier'. They then go find out what happened to the beetles and then probably go around seeding other worlds with Taumoeba and/or finding ways to save all the stars.

OR

They take grace and the gang to see the futures of erid, earth or the iron lung universe.
