Zelda’s Adventure to Gamelon

The Kingdom of Hyrule was experiencing a time of peace after Link Defeated the Evil wizard Aghanim and stopped the attempt at Reviving Ganon in the neighboring kingdoms of Holodrum and Labrynna. But one Terrible news reached the King of Hyrule, his old friend and close Ally Duke Onkled of the island nation Koridai is under Attack by evil forces and has asked for Aid. King Sopranos left for Koridai leaving Zelda and Link in charge of Hyrule in his absence. But after a Month with no word from the King Zelda asks Link to go to Koridai to find out what happened to her Father. Link travels with Raskha and their old friend Sahsrasla. But they also disappeared, Zelda against the wishes of the Chancellor decides to go to Koridai herself along with Impa to rescue her Father and Friends.

Zelda the Wand of Gamelon was a Philips CD-I game released back in 1993 two years after A Link to the Past. They are very bad games and Nintendo doesn’t recognize them as Canon to the Zelda series and probably wishes they were directly involved in their development or that they never existed.

Based on the Memories from Breath of the Wild’s Zelda at the Springs of Power, Wisdom and Courage to awaken her power

But unlike her the Zelda from A Link to the Past had her mother to teach how to unlock her power (at least in my fan fiction who knows what Nintendo’s official canon is )

I got this idea from a picture I found on Pinterest of a girl looking up at something in a little pond with her dog standing next to her

Atop Death Mountain

After collecting all of the Ancient Stone Tablets Zelda, Kimi along with Rahska Head up to Death Mountain where they find a Emerald color Monolith standing all by itself. Zelda and Raskha remember seeing this Monolith years ago when they had traveled to the Tower of Hera with Link as he collected the Pendants of Virtue. But at the Time they didn’t understand what it was or what it said. So they had forgotten about it until Zelda had a dream about it the night before. So using the Book of Mudora and the Stone Tablets The group group try translating the text on the Stone to determine what it says.

The dress Princess Zelda is wearing is based on her appearance in The Oracle Series. My plan so far for AST is to connect it with the Oracle Series since they are happening around the same time. Kiki’s bored expression is a reference to the part of the game where Zelda is solving the mystery of the seal and you have to wait awhile until she’s finished. When AST first came out (only in Japan) it was a time based game so At a certain time Zelda would finish translating a the game would continue. (If you left her to explore Hyrule she would call telepathically to return to Death Mountain) so my basic plan for this part of the story is that Zelda finds out that there is a way to bring Ganon back to life. By lighting the flames of Destruction, Despair and Sorrow. But then Twinrovoa would appear and Kidnap Zelda despite Kimi and Raskha’s best efforts to save Zelda. This would lead to the Finale of the Oracle Series. I’m still working on this idea to connect the Oracle Series with Ancient Stone Tablets.

Kimi Saving the Priest from Drowning

This picture is based on a scene from Nintendo‘s Satellaview sequel to A Link to the Past, Ancient Stone Tablets.

Where you have to save the priest, who slipped and fell into Lake Hylia while heading towards Hyrule Castle. The girl saving the priest is Kimi a character I created for this story based on the Satellaview’s female mascot sprite. (I’ve done a few pictures with her already but just in case you haven’t seen those that’s who she is)

Aghanim had Made a pact with the demon king Ganon. He would find the descendances of the seven Wisemen and break their seal, in exchange for great power. this plan took years to complete but as those years went by Aghanim began to form a plan of his own. He wasn't content with sharing the power of the Triforce with Ganon. No he wanted it's power for himself. So as he worked towards breaking the seven Wisemen's seal he also began searching for ways to Kill Ganon. He knew the Master Sword wasn't an option do to the fact that it resided in the Lost Woods, And No one had ever found it. and According to legend the spirit in the blade chose it's wielder. and if your heart was corrupt it could kill you if you even attempted to pull it from it's pedestal. So Aghanim Collected other powerful Artifacts. Each with powers that where said to rival Ganon's. But Aghanim wasn't satisficed with any of them. but then one day he found an old Book in the Castle Library in it He learned that there was another Sword similar to the Master Sword in power. it's current location is unknown it's temple disappeared during the Imprisoning War. Aghanim had an Idea where this Sword was. He began to research ways of obtaining it.

When I first started working on my Fanfiction on ALTTP I wanted to make Aghanim his own Character just like Akira Himekawa did in his Manga. I talked with a friend of mine about my story, and she suggested that instead of Aghanim just wanting to free Ganon just for power. Instead Aghanim should have his own Independent reasons for helping Ganon. like obtaining the Triforce for himself. I liked her Idea, but i wasn't sure how it would work. then I remembered that in the GBA version of ALTTP that Nintendo added a new Dungeon in the Dark World which held the Four Sword. and in Four Swords Adventures the Blade was seen being able to defeat Ganon and Seal him way. So I thought it would be an Interesting way to included the Four Sword "DLC" into my Fanfiction. And to have Aghanim secretly secretly trying to find away to Kill Ganon instead of just blindly following him for no other reason besides sharing power.

While I was finishing up my Library Escape picture I was thinking about other concept idea's I could draw for my Fanfiction. One of those ideas was about Link's Uncle and what happened to his body after you leave him in the game. Link's Uncle is a member of the Knights of Hyrule an elite order of Knight's who have appeared in other Zelda Games like Ocarina of Time, The Oracle series and Four Swords Adventures to name a few. And In Ataru Cagiva's Manga (Where the Name Zanji comes from) He's was the Head Trainer of solders of Hyrule. meaning he was well known figure in the Hylian military like a veteran of sorts. so my Idea so far for this scene is that after Link and Zelda's escape a guard will inform the King and Aghanim that the Princess was abducted. The King will order an Immediate lockdown of Hyrule Castle and Town and that the surrounding villages and country side be searched to find her. then while investigating the Castle they find the bodies of Zanji and Hylian Guard along with his comrade. They ask him what happened that night and who killed the guard and Zanji. the Man will explain that it all happened so fast and he's not really sure but that he remembers seeing a boy in green wearing the coat with the crest of the Knights of Hyrule attack him and his comrade. after further investigation they find out that the boy was possibly Link Zanji's Nephew. And that Link had spent some time with Princess Zelda during the festival. Aghanim Knowing that he Killed Zanji tells the King that Link was the one who killed the his Uncle and the Guard before he kidnapped the Princess. and that Zanji was trying to Protect the Princess from his evil nephew. The King will place an reward for the capture of Link. And that because of Zanji's Attempt at saving the Princess that He will be buried in Hyrule Cathedral along side the Nobility.

Back in July 2019 when I first started working on my A Link To the Past Project. I had Drawn a different version of Link getting the Master Sword. I posted it on my Instagram Link Here

I didn't like how it turned out. also my story for ALTTP has changed a bit since then. Captain Arjuna (a character from Ataru Cagiva’s Manga) was in the Original picture. He was suppose to accompany Link, Raskha and Zelda on their Journey just like in his original story. But with the Inclusion of Zelda in the Light World part and Kimi in the Dark World He would fit in the Story anymore so I changed his part.

Also My art has gotten better since the original picture so it was time for an update.

Fi makes an appearance in my Picture. in Akira Himekawa's Manga of ALTTP the Master Sword Speaks to Link before he pulls it out of it's pedestal. and since Skyward Sword came out we know that Fi lives within the Master Sword so I included her. though no one see's her.

Here's my idea for the story behind this Picture

After Link obtained the Three Pendants, He, Raskha and Zelda headed toward the Lost Woods. They ask some of the people in Kokiri Village about where they can find the Master Sword. One Kokiri kid tells them that a Korok named Milo could show them the way.

They followed the Korok through the Foggy Woods toward the Korok Forest and to the Ancient Shrine for the Hero Of Time.
