So last year, my brother got married. I like to crochet blankets for my friends who get married, but my brother is a beer and sports guy. He'd never care about a kitschy crochet blanket.

Lucky for me, he and his now wife have a favorite video game series: Legend of Zelda. And several years ago, someone posted this blanket on reddit. I fell in love with it because it was the only blanket design I saw that featured both Zelda and Link rather than just Link.

Unfortunately, the artist left Reddit before I could seriously ask for the pattern. So I was left to stare at pixel art and recreate it. As you can see, I took a lot of inspiration, but in the end, the design is fully my own.

I gave it to them a year late, but I finished!
