Okay so I know everyone is excited about the clips of the concert (rewatching on my phone rn) but the premiere itself was actually so fucking good. Tbh I've been nervous this whole time about the tonal shift for this part of the story and was having a hard time imagining lestat as the narrator (yes I know ssssshhhhhh I'm talking about the show universe right now i grew really attached to this louis). tonight completely assuaged my fears. It was wild, raunchy, trippy, silly, and still felt completely acceptable as an iwtv successor.

and the subject matter of the ep1 cliffhanger?? oh baby they're not playing around with us this season!
