"Having a different morality than the society I live in. Part of it is the line between personal responsibility and collective responsibility and where people draw that line. Part of it is things like are animals people? It’s just alienating sometimes. But the weird thing is that I think there are lines in morality that are different but the underlying values are mostly the same and I want to know how to reconcile that. If we almost care about the same things, why do I feel so alienated?"
What is one of the happiest memories you have?
"There are so many. One of my favorites: It’s Valentine’s days, I’m 7. Just got out of a Girl Scout meeting and one of my parents brought me a little puppy. I was wearing a jumper with leggings on and so I scooped up the puppy in the jumper and was walking around and she was wriggling around being way too stoked."
