It really is just to trick you so you’ll pay more for a larger looking item and then have to buy a new one sooner.

Instead of a blanket ban on plastic straws can we start by banning overly large packaging? This isn’t just deceptive, it’s also incredibly wasteful. And unlike straws, nobody needs bulky and difficult packaging that’s twice as large as it needs to be.
