If you'll allow me a soap box for a moment, adults are allowed to have hobbies outside of their jobs, and whether or not YOU think their hobbies are cool or cringe is irrelevant.

See, this is most commonly a problem in professions like teaching. A teacher posts a picture on (usually her) personal social media account doing something normal — out for a drink with friends, at the beach in a swimsuit, etc — and next thing you know you have pearl clutching Karens saying "but it's not APPROPRIATE for my child's SECOND GRADE TEACHER to be DOING THAT!!!!", as if this grown adult must be in "teacher mode" 24/7, lest her students find out that she's a normal adult outside of school.

Jobs are not identities. For some people maybe they are, and they certainly used to be, but in a society where you are only valued for your profits and can/will be replaced at a moments notice over little more than hearsay or a bad mood, more and more people are realizing that having a work life balance is necessary for mental health.

Your lawyer is only a lawyer during their working hours. Your teacher is only a teacher during their working hours. Your doctor is only a doctor during their working hours. So on and so forth.

What these adults do for leisure is, largely, none of your business.

Now yes, if you find out your lawyer/teacher/doctor attends KKK meetings in their spare time, that's something to speak out about.
