I never got why people would think Rose would want to order Pearl around anyway. It was obvious she wasn’t happy when Pearl was acting like a pearl was expected. Once Pearl starts to act more like herself, it’s obvious Rose is happier, she loves seeing Pearl being able to be herself, she loves the fact Pearl was free from her role as a pearl.
