Okay, so the game’s theme colour will be green, which makes sense as that’s a colour not yet used; but with the teaser showing a lot of gravestones in what has to be a very crowded cemetery (it doesn’t even look like there’s enough room for graves) and how gooey the logo is, it’s giving me ghost vibes (plus all the horror editing in the teaser). What I’m saying is is that I think Persona 6 will be Ghostbusters.

But in all seriousness, looks like we’ll be getting more a horror theme this time around. Considering the criticism that Persona, as a spin-off from SMT, is too saccharine compared to its dark mothership, maybe this game is about going back into those dark roots; Although, part of the Persona series charm is that double life between living a normal everyday life while dealing with supernatural threats from the human psyche, I have to wonder if how dark they can go as having the normal everyday life simulator is such an intrinsic part of the Persona series’ formula.

Also, that shot of a headless statue with a lot of twisted tree branches and green sky in the background really makes me think of Nyarlathotep from Persona 2, so maybe Nyarly making a comeback?
