Disclaimer: this blog does not condone or support silencing criticism of Jodie and Sandra by labelling them as attacks.
Jodie and Sandra are affluent celebrities, actresses who performed a job that everyone is allowed to discuss, debate, and criticize. They are not above scrutiny.
This blog does not condone or support kissing Sandraâs and Jodieâs asses.

And also silencing slander on any of them.
@morerevengeâ First of all, thanks for letting me know youâre a sycophant. Explains a lot.
Secondly, itâs not actually âslander,â because itâs in written form here, so it would actually be âlibel.â But more to the point, Sandra Oh and Jodie Comer are public figures. If you look up the legal definition of the terms youâre throwing around, their status grants anyone exemption from âslanderâ because anyone can say what they want about them precisely because theyâre public figures.
Most importantly, who are you to tell me what i can and cannot say? How I should think and exactly what to think?
Sandra Oh is not above criticism for any reason.
But because you say so, Iâm just supposed to be quiet and not criticize her? Just who do you think you are?
And Sandra Oh is homophobic and problematic.
Sandra Oh being Asian and an actress does not excuse the homophobic remarks she made in 2019 and gaslit the fandom. It does not excuse her bewildering and hurtful revelations about her own character Eve in her recent Deadline interview. It does not excuse her insistence, especially as executive producer, that Villaneve is âambiguousâ and things like their bus kiss are widely open to interpretation. It does not excuse her bizarre labeling of Villaneve as a mother-daughter relationship.
I will not be silenced or told to âcalm downâ when I rationally present my criticisms and express my own perspective.
Instead of policing the viewpoints of people you donât agree with, maybe try respectfully considering them before you outright try to silence them.
if you want to try to win your argument by being pedantic, you should at least be correct lmao. not only can you slander or libel a public figure, but those are actually the most common cases to make it to court because the defamed person has to prove damages resulting from the defamation and "random tumblr user spreads lies about other random tumblr user" doesn't usually cause any monetary damages for either party. there's actually a really famous case happening right now where a public figure is suing someone for defamation....his name is johnny depp....maybe you've heard of him...
