The Wisdom behind Polygamy. The number of single sisters will continue to grow so long as they do not want to be in a polygamous marriage. Some of them may even stay forever single unfortunately and Allah's aid is sought.

السعادة لا تكون بين الزوجين إلا بصبرهما على بعضهما البعض, وبتعاونهما على الخير وعلى تربية أبنائهما, والله المستعان.

وَذَكَرَ ابْنُ عَبْدِ الْبَرِّ: ثَلَاثٌ إذَا كُنَّ فِي الرَّجُلِ لَمْ يُشَكَّ فِي عَقْلِهِ وَفَضْلِهِ:

If he is praised by his neighbour,

إذَا حَمِدَهُ جَارُهُ

By his relatives

وَقَرَابَتُهُ

And by his friends.

وَرَفِيقُهُ.

Three things make life unbearable:

كَدُرَ الْعَيْشِ فِي ثَلَاثٍ:

A bad neighbour,

الْجَارِ السَّوْءِ،

A disobedient child

وَالْوَلَدِ الْعَاقِّ،

And a badly-behaved and unreasonable wife.”

وَالْمَرْأَةِ السَّيِّئَةِ الْخُلُقِ.
