they showed the repressed vs oblivious SO well this episode. Eddie denying himself joy, picking water over fruit juice, trying to hide himself to later finally taking the mask down. Buck spiraling over new information, not realizing his own ironic situation, trying to make big overcompensating gestures and getting blindsided by something that was always coming. they've always been repressed vs oblivious. and now they're on the same couch together.
