woah hi tumblr i havent been here in a while

i wish there was more male reader "x reader" fics. it's interesting that m/m ships tend to be the most popular but when it comes to reader insert f/m outweighs anything else by a landslide, there are like gender neutral ones which like i can read and its okay, but i wish there was more male reader. I used to just read the female reader stuff anyways but i cant really do that anymore as its not just the she/her pronouns its like the characterisation and mannerisms that are like feminine and it makes me dysphoric when i read them lol. and there r some "gender neutral" ones that are like that too, like its exactly the same but they use they/them instead of she/her. i dont mind like the anatomy stuff if its got smut tho cause like im a trans man so that matches my anatomy ig. idk ig im not really the target audience lol but its sad when im like in love with a character but every x reader fic is either female reader or is a smut compilation of many ships so its tagged with all the categories. i feel like this is probably a case of write the fic you wish to see in the world, which i would love to do but i just wish there was also more out there lol.

do people actually read oc fics ? cause the main thing stopping me from actually writing my ocs story and not just having it in my head is, why bother writing it if no one will read it.

even tho i really liked the moon knight show, when i watched it i knew nothing about moon knight, but like now i know a lot more... and when i read fic it irks me every time i see ones where i can see they wrote the fic while the show was still airing. again nothing wrong with that, but when the fic is tagged with comics and they use the shows characterisation of especially steven and then mischaracterise him further into some soft crybaby idk im just like aahhh. also we need some jake appreciation guys ! anyways so now im looking for moon knight fic written before the show was a thing. also idk im the type of person who gets mad when people get lore wrong, even tho its not peoples fault that they're not crazy like me and do a deep dive whenever i get remotely interested in something lol. i have found a lot of stuff i do enjoy tho and also like i love oscar isaac's portrayal lol. i loved the show. just some fic has problems ig. ugh now i feel rude and like im complainign too mcuh 😭
