so start respecting the riders by not posting memes where people might get the wrong idea of them, stop posting rpf stuff because WE FUCKING WANT TO PROTECT OUR FANDOM, we want to protect other fans who try to keep rpf away from the riders involved out of respect and away from sports fans who, for a variety of reasons, don't want and/or shouldn't interact with rpf

Some of y'all are new fans but we had a fucking bad breach a few years ago that involved fics – btw start locking your fics, i see all of you newbies aren't doing that – and it was pretty nasty for us cycling rpf fans.

I don't care if y'all are used to talking abt rpf freely in your other fandoms. We're not the f1 fandom here, we don't want the people involved to know abt ships, we don't want journos to catch up with our content, we don't want official accounts of races / teams to use ship names freely because that might lead the wrong people to the rpf side of the fandom and that comes with big consequences.

Also, riders are actively online on twitter and read more stuff than you believe.
