1. More consistent characterization for Peggy. From episode to episode she fluctuates between resourceful yet overconfident to impossibly foolish. It would be nice to see some of her Flanderization from the later seasons reversed. 2. Resolution to whatever happened to G.H., Hank’s half-brother. Once Cotton died we never really heard what happened to him or Didi. They should occasionally make appearances just to show that they are still considered a part of the Hill family. 3. A happy ending for Luanne. She would obviously not be returning to the show after the death of her voice actress, but some indication that she moved away and became successful and happy would be very appreciated. 4. More pathos for Kahn and Minh. They don’t have to be nice exactly, just less needlessly cruel and more realistically uptight rather than sadistic and spiteful. 5. A giant, propane-powered mech for Hank to pilot. The mech is 60 feet tall and remains dormant beneath the Arlen water tower until Hank needs it. Hank can summon the mech at any time by saying “It’s propane time!” into his watch, at which point the ground will open and the mech will appear. Hank only uses the mech as a last resort when a situation cannot be resolved in any other way, but the mech is still used once every episode, usually during the climax. There will be some scenes where Bill, Dale and Boomhauer are shown helping Hank perform maintenance on the mech, but most residents of Arlen are not aware that Hank is the pilot. Reoccurring antagonists such as M.F. Thatherton and Leanne Platter will also have mechs, but Hank’s mech is much stronger and will always defeat them in battle; it will be strongly implied that their mechs are weaker because they are not powered by propane. There will also be an episode where Peggy has to pilot the mech instead of Hank, and when she wins the battle she will shout “ho yeah!” 6. An episode where Bobby gets really into Fortnite. Hank doesn’t know what to do about it.
