I’ve had a lot of time and opportunity to think about this while writing my Fives fic, and I would love to share my observations with y'all.

So let’s talk about Fives! First, he is very physical compared to his brothers, often aggressively so.

He often goes for physical contact, even when it’s not necessary uhh is he patting Rex’s arm or his ass?

Bonus points if that's just a front. It's not that they don't care about their team. Hell, their team is the closest thing to family they have. It's just that panicking or breaking down isn't going to save the life of the person who's bleeding out in front of them. Especially if they're the only one with the knowledge to do so.

Bonus bonus points if the team knows this. Maybe once they are off duty they turn into a completely different person than when they are in the field. The team doesn't mind that they act that way. After all, that cold indifference is what has saved their lives countless times.
