Summer Sun. What a beautiful sun filled day! Then a father and his kids on kick scooters came rolling down the dock, the one little boy says, "are there sharks in there?" Dad says, "no," walking away. I said, "no, just alligators.." 😂😉 bahahahahaha

Psalm73-77. My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart & my portion forever. Those who are far from you will perish; you destroy all who are unfaithful to you. But as for me, it is good to be near God. I have made the Sovereign Lord my refuge; I will tell of all of your deeds.... {I know what the Word says, but who's to say I can't still pray for those far from the Lord right now, & that my words & actions will change hearts for the Lord.} my prayer today as our hearts are unsettled after a shooter took the lives of 9 that loved on him and shared Christ with him for one hour. I was reading in a fitness magazine yesterday about how women spend an average of 2 hours a day on social media looking at photos that often objectify themselves, comparing their appearances w their peers, & even their past own images. The article challenges us to post less images of themselves. #guilty Now we ask ourselves, how do I feel about my body? Do you feel connected to it? Do you feel respect for it? How do you nurture it? Savor. So favorite scripture in Ephesians. Was just talking about it on the lines of "gossip" in my Campus Care devotions. Then someone else brought it up again this weekend. A couple years ago my mom even typed it up on card stock for me. I always thought the scripture was about our words to be wholesome, positive, no cussing. Now @sniequist says pregnant mama's like to compare the weight they have gained... In actuality to see who gained the least amount of weight. {that was new for me-single & no kids} "..let's encourage one another toward grace and compassion."
