We gather as community to pray not only with our lips but with our hands and feet as well. There is a difference between being racist and being prejudice. As a woman of color, I can be as prejudice as I want but nothing I do will ever hold a candle to the systematic oppression, formally known as, RACISM, that has shaped and plagued this country for hundreds of years. Learn the difference. So, no. I'm not here for white tears about how you've been mistreated by someone of color because of what you look like. That's sad but until it happens to you for a couple hundred years and then in 2015 by a group of people who were TAUGHT to hate you, you will never understand how it feels.
