anyways that aside i was thinking if it went down the route of okarun forgetting momo we’d get to see what it’d truly look like without her. okarun might be asking himself what’s missing from his life? why did it change so suddenly? then ofc he and the gang would do something to bring momo back, maybe just remembering her is enough to do it. then momo and okarun tearfully rejoice and i can just picture momo saying, “you remembered me!” and okarun responding, “how could i forget the one i fell in love with.”

that would be peak, but this is more of a headcanon/guess of what could happen LOL. maybe we’ll see something similar at least. i also picture that the entire history and culture research club (we need to call it something else guys) might have some sort of empty feeling they can’t explain, or maybe just the og possessed ones (okarun, aira, and jiji) will remember momo in some way. idk just my thoughts on it.
