I wish a specific type of hope punk ghouls would stop calling everyone who is publicly anguished about politics a psyop for the opposition. like sorry that morale is low and I understand the mire of despair doesn’t move the revolution forward or whatever but you don’t always have to be bursting into people’s emotional spaces like a political pep rally

If I say “I think things are bad and i think they’ll get worse before they get better, and I don’t think they will get better for a long long time” that’s not my proposed platform for the midterm elections or my thesis statement summation of my political ethos, that’s me blogging. because things fucking suck.

adulthood is carefully writing a two paragraph email that could actually just be reduced completely to “hey, what the fuck”

people on the subway train are alwaus looking at their phones well we should look to eachother and build a community that lives on trains and be like a siphonophore that uses the train as a shell . and float through the pelagic zone and share the seas nutrients such as small fish and crustaceans among our linked bodies
