1. Rakaiyah is not responsible for cordelia being trapped. But Cordelias goddess/maker is. She imprisoned cori in a forest in the human realm as punishment for blasphemy 300 years ago :D

2. Why is Rakaiyah learning magic?

Soo Rakaiyah has been having nightmares of a supernatural beast coming to destroy her town and believes they'll come true. So she seeks out the "witch" in the woods (aka cordelia) people in her town rumor about to ask for help. after they meet they make a deal: if Rakaiyah can get Cori out of the human realm Cori will help kill the beast.

So Cori is only teaching Rakaiyah how to use magic so that she can escape. and Rakaiyah did not have interest in learning magic before. But later she does try to learn other spells on her own

3. Sadly Cordelia sees most humans as pesky lil ants and has no romantic interest for them. Also Rakaiyah is like 19 or 20 and cori is 1000 years old...i do appreciate problematic age gap yuri from time to time but i don think it will not happen for these characters

But Cori is flirty with everyone else tho like in the past she had a thing for fae ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
