I overestimated how much patience I have, I don’t even like doing puzzles 😭. JJJ is right, spider-man is a menace! He convinced me to buy this because it looked cool and articulate, but I’m already wanting to give up! (Picture kind of sucks at showing this, but just know, there’s so many little pieces in the bags behind this)

2 hours later:

I honestly think this will take me 2 more hours to finish because of how damn hard it is to get the little black joints into the holes.

Asides from that: it’s really frustrating to be done with a bunch of tiny pieces, only to realize you did everything backwards :|

I also lost some very time pieces multiple times and they were so difficult to find (and use, I had to get my pliers out and accept that this brand new figure is already damaged lol)

Another comic with cute anime girls in it, how scandalous. I've got a bit of a backlog on model kits that I'm very slowly working through, and I just finished the main body of one of them - Gii, from Kotobukiya's Arcanadea series. Fun little gremlin, but I think I might have misassembled the tail, because it feels like the segments aren't really lining up right...

The other figure is Figma Gawr Gura. I'm hoping to get all of HoloMyth's figures, but Ina's $120-at-minimum-before-shipping price tag hurts my soul (also whether or not Ame will get her own Figma, but then again, IIRC she's just an affiliate now and still shows up on occasion, so maybe there's still hope for us Investigators).

So, now that we're getting updated versions of the Armada Minicons, what's the likelihood that we'll get Safeguard, or even Cybertron Metroplex's Minicon partner, down the line?

I don't think we ever did explain to him the apocalyptic problem his singularity represents.

I appreciate for the reader it's grating to retread that ground over and over again. But it is kind of the elephant in the room when somebody's like "I'm going to change history for good reasons, and I haven't demonstrated any understanding of how this would end all life as we know it."

The thought occurs to me that this sort of thing is exactly why making Ritsuka Fujimaru a player insert was a terrible decision. They're clearly meant to be Japanese (or at least, of Japanese descent); and with how often events and story chapter keep going back to Japan, it would be nice to see how they feel about the Singularities and the ones responsible for it. Take the last GUDAGUDA event, for instance - how would Ritsuka respond to Ujizane's desire to undo his father's failure, or Itto's revenge against the Shinsengumi and Japan itself as proxy, as someone who would definitely be collateral if they were allowed to succeed? We'll never know, because Fujimaru Ritsuka isn't actually a character, just a cardboard cutout for the player to stick their head through and interact with their waifus the world of the Nasuverse through Chaldea.

Not to mention, how often the story likes to hammer in the idea that Chaldea Is Teh Real Monster because destroying the Lostbelts is tantamount to genocide even if their presence threatens Proper Human History and the World as a whole. After all of the "Are We The Baddies?" angsting, culminating in us having to go through the Ordeal Call because Something Something Extra Classes Bad, why aren't the villains get called out for their actions? Why don't we get the chance to tell Siebold, or Itto, or Uzijane, or any of the other villains who act righteous despite their goals threatening the world and humanity, that they in no uncertain terms can get stuffed?

Once again, I do the unthinkable and step outside to take pictures. Doing so in the summer was a mistake, even though NJ summer is less disgusting than the Florida version.

If the lighting seems to fluctuate between pictures, that was a result of me playing with the brightness settings on my phone's camera. I'm still getting the hang of actually taking good photos.

The mantis figure is BB-37 Lotus from 52Toys' Beast Box line. I've collected a few others from that toyline, although I haven't really shown them off all that much.

Buzzclaw's dialogue is based on one of Gianni Matragano's many, many shitposts (WARNING: The orignal version is quite explicit, please don't watch if you're at work or under 18). I swear, I can write original dialogue instead of making references. =p
