Not to revive Palworld discourse (I hope) but Palworld is out of early access now and they redesigned one of the most blatant knock-offs, Verdash! The old one was just Cinderace with a fox tail but the new one is super cute, I kind of love it.
I've never been fond of Pokemon that are Just A Guy, so I got to wondering what Cinderace would look like with the new Verdash proportions... this is getting so recursive lol.

A thing I love about palworld that a lot of streamers go "rawr, survival of the fittest!" And they're dead wrong.
And the game is at its core a game about how you can't do this on your own.
There are so many things you just cannot do. You cannot run the furnace, you cannot run the water wheel, you cannot swim that far, you cannot open some chests, you cannot make things at a reasonable rate. You will, if alone, perish.
And then they try to make it about slavery. The harder you push, the worse the conditions, the more you go down that route, the worse everything actually works.
You need to take care of them and in turn they will take care of you. Thats the thing. Thats always the thing. You build your community and they will support you. Thats the core of the game.
