Thanks for the question! Briefly, it will initially take place in a part of Puebla, but the main story is set in Mexico City. The era is the 18XXs, and it features several anachronisms with certain historical figures and events.
I can't reveal the historical characters, but I can mention that Porfirio DΓaz will appear as president.
Although the story is set in Mexico City, several buildings are taken from other cities, so it's a mix of everything. It's a period fantasy version of Mexico.

No problem! This version takes place in Mexico 18XX. It introduces new characters based on real historical figures and includes two mini stories revolving around the Opera House and the Phantom. In this adaptation, he isnβt a villain but rather a powerful figure who helps struggling artists achieve their dreams for mysterious reasons, think of him more like Tuxedo Mask from Sailor Moon.
The story focuses more on Christineβs journey and her romance with the mysterious man. They become partners in these mini-adventures π, so there will be plenty of cute scenes between them.
The characters still share some traits with their original versions, but their motives and the lessons they must learn are different.
One very important thing is the effect of music. Showing sound in a comic is tricky, but I found a pretty crazy way to make it look amazing. I hope youβll like it when the comic comes out.

It's my first time making a comic, I'm trying to do my best but I keep encountering interesting problems and things that I should have learned to do before like backgrounds. You're going to see a difference in the quality of the first pages compared to the rest of them, I'm getting better at it.

Can you tell me what size you usually use for your canva?
It depends, if it's a desktop background I begin with 1920x1080, if it is a normal post then I use 1080x1080 pixels, I use these sizes only for the sketch.
When I get to the lineart phase I enlarge it to 7,000x7,000 pixels more or less.
