Hi! Welcome to my art blog. You can call me Roth Vantes, any pronoun is fine, i feel kind of detached to the concept of gender. I’m a 27 years old hobbyist artist who mainly uses traditional mediums. Since I’m from Chile and my native language is Spanish, you might expect some weird wording on my posts (trying my best!). I understand English, Portuguese and Italian, though I can’t speak the latter two (disglosia).

A bit of an Erra idea i'm playing with. I deleted most of the armature layers save the trophy heads but fuck they all took most of the drawing time. Sleeping meds started kicking in so imma come back to this tomorrow.
Erra's had a looooooong day getting blood price over an offense to his husband (attempted assassination) (also not married yet but he pretty much exists like they are/this is what make the bois actually do it).
A thing about drawing late at night and immediately sleeping afterwards is that the next day you'll wake up to drawings you can't remember ever drawing. Well anyway, some previous version of me has drawn Erandur again, that slut.

I don't usually watch TV series (because I get distracted easily and tend to pause to sketch and understand the narrative structure), except for Automan, which I watch every day while I paint, but I've managed to start Interview with the Vampire. I'm on the third episode, and I've already done several scene studies. I love the colors and the composition.
Also, I'm still doing the Morrowind studies, it's just that I started painting the three at the same time. Bad idea. Now they all are halfway done.
And I'm working on the Dragon Age Kiss week. I have the idea for two prompts, and I'm doing some preliminary studies of them (I'm short on good quality watercolor paper so I can't afford screwing the final piece :c). I think those will be the more complex ones, I don't have time to do five full pieces in 15 days (🐌). The others will be charcoal or ink drawings, because I will work only with values and textures that way.
... If I don't fly to the land of Oz with the storm that starts tomorrow and will last five days. Pray for me.

Name: Cimba
Age: 23-26 (depending on what part of her story I’m writing)
Born: 25th of First Seed
Background: Born in Falkreath and taken in by a Nord family. Spent her early childhood living in Falkreath and her teen years outside of Markarth. She always loved exploring and taught herself how to use swords and daggers at a young age. At 23, she met Teldryn after she first visited Solstheim out of curiosity. They now both live together outside of Falkreath and have their adventures in Skyrim and Solstheim. She often does jobs for Dawnguard, the Thieves Guild, and Dark Brotherhood (though she can be picky about which contracts she’ll take).
Notable Relationships:
Teldryn Sero - Her husband/mate and best friend. He’s her “favorite person” and is pretty much dependent on him.
Johanna (my Dunmer OC) - One of her closest friends. Johanna is way more confident and mentally stable so she’s been a positive influence on Cimba and taught her a lot about making peace with her past.
Erandur - While accompanying him in Nightcaller Temple, Erandur told her how he overcame Vaermina’s dark influence and eventually adjusted to the more loving ways of Mara. Cimba viewed that as hope for herself that she could also change and move away from self-sabotaging Daedric influences (She admired Molag Bal and Namira during her teen years, which she deeply regrets and later became a follower of Azura).
Other friends of Cimba’s are Jenassa (Johanna’s wife), Kharjo, Serana, Mjoll the Lioness, J’zargo, Brelyna, and Onmund
Strengths: Kind-hearted, empathetic, and fiercely loyal and protective of those she loves and cares about. Her best practical skills are one-handed, alchemy, sneaking, and lock-picking.
Weaknesses: She has all of my symptoms of BPD and C-PTSD. Intense fear of abandonment and rejection, extreme mood swings, self-harm/suicidal ideation, splitting (which she’s done to Teldryn a couple times), chronic emptiness, unstable sense of self, low self-worth, dissociation, and stress-related paranoia. She often struggles to stick up for herself and is an extreme people-pleaser due to her fear of abandonment. Though throughout her story, her symptoms slowly but surely improve due to her being in a safer and more caring environment.
No Interest In: Lying, exploiting, and manipulating others or causing harm to innocent people.
No Concept Of: Self-worth and self-respect. She hates that she’s always hard on herself over her past mistakes and thinking she’s never good enough.
In Battle: Prefers dual-wielding katanas. Very agile and has quick reflexes due to her being a Khajiit. Also has a very good sense of smell (she uses it like the “detect life” spell) for detecting enemies.
Distinguishing Marks: She has a scar across her snout and two black rose tattoos on her chest that I have myself. Also has a few self-harm scars 💀
Trivia:
Cimba is bisexual and mostly attracted to Dunmer and female Khajiits.
She’s inspired by and based on my snow leopard fursona of the same name. When I first created her in Skyrim I tried to make her look as much like a snow leopard as I could.
Since Cimba was born and raised in Skyrim, she’s always been somewhat disconnected from Khajiit culture and beliefs. Most of what she knew about her people was from speaking with Khajiit caravans. Despite this she still has some typical mannerisms of Khajiits such as speaking in third-person, having a big sweet tooth, and an affinity for sneaking and agility.
Cimba’s comfort foods are cheese and potato soup, beef stew, and Elsweyr fondue. Most sweet foods are comforting to her as well and her favorite sweet treats are apple pie and sweet rolls.
She’s very passionate about alchemy and loves foraging and learning about properties of ingredients.
Cimba and Teldryn both revere Azura. They occasionally travel to her shrine near Winterhold and visit the temple in Raven Rock (whenever they return to Solstheim) to pay their respects.
Unlike a lot of Khajiits, Cimba loves the cold and snow. She adapted to having much longer fur than the average Khajiit.
During her teen years, her adoptive Nord family had a wolfhound named Scruffy (inspired by my German Wirehaired Pointer I had growing up) who she loved dearly and always took him with her while exploring The Reach.
Like myself, Cimba is also an artist, writer, and practices nature-based magic (due to her passion for alchemy). She has an art journal she loves sketching and painting in and even makes her watercolors using berries, flowers, and other natural ingredients.
