Okay I vividly remember reading about the hashashin feeding cat meat to their hitmen so they'd magically absorb the cat's bravery when dealing with targets larger than itself but now I can't find where I read it! I actually also remember how in the sentence it also mentioned the technical term used to refer to this type of magic. Not just sympathetic magic. It had a specific name.

funny enough i think morrowind almost does the whole "nameless bandits" thing better than any game after it, mostly bc they're literally not nameless. almost every single bandit/smuggler/what-have-you has a fucking name. they're literally whole guys and sometimes they're related to other guys, and sometimes really important guys. galmis dren is not just a random battlemage you fight at the end of nammu. he's evidently a member of the prestigious dren family, which includes the literal duke of vvardenfell vedam dren himself. (i headcanon that galmis is actually orvas dren's illegitimate son.)

I genuinely want to know what goes on in my higher up's head. She's a misogynist and can't address women without calling them a bitch but then her own beliefs don't limit her or ruin her confidence or alter how she interacts with men. She isn't unconsciously misogynistic btw. She knows exactly what she's doing and saying.
Also she's extremely similar to my dad in her mannerisms and personality so it's been agonizing and familiar to work for her. So like I know how to keep her from throwing a tantrum: sweets and snacks.
