Something that still peeves me about the invincible fandom is how people portray or perceive Rudolph’s behaviors. He isn’t a “narcissistic”. He’s a man who developed a lack of basic empathy, has no emotional intelligence, and had lacked the most basics of human connection and communication after parading around as a robot for the majority of his early life. No one knew the real him. Of course, him being considerably one of the most intelligent humans in the series comes with its downfalls. Highly intelligent people rarely are intelligent in other areas of life. Even when he made himself a body, his reasons weren’t exactly good, and the body wasn’t truly his because it was made from Rex’s DNA. And even when he revealed his real name, he still opted to go by “Rudy”, putting on a new and likable persona, just like he did with “Robot”. He was secretly deceptive. He lied in a convincing manner, adding believable context behind it. And honestly, nothing he did in the later series seemed genuinely malicious. It was all for the “greater good”, even when he had to kill people he was close with, harm peoples loved ones, and worse. Another thing I don’t like is when people think he did what he did because Amanda cheated on him in the Flaxan dimension even though they stayed together for quite some time after that. Not to mention, she supports his ideas before he begins taking drastic measures. He only attempts to kill her because he knows she isn’t supporting him anymore. He even admits he still loves her at that point. Even though their relationship was built on his twisted savior complex, the idea that if he can fix himself he can fix her too, he still loved her, even at a base level.
