Loose little horse study painted for fun
Nils Kreuger, βEn Liten GrΓ₯lleβ (A Little Horse)
Painted this study because it is an interesting angle and I liked the colours/lighting.
Not art just horse stuff

Painting of a hare
"Popgun"
Portrait of an Arabian horse painted with watercolour and gouache on paper.
Nils Kreuger
Study of a horse contemplating a view, painted in watercolour and gouache.
A landscape study in gouache and watercolour. I don't really feel confident painting landscapes, so I try to make the effort to practice.

A cantering Icelandic Horse
Another horse animation! For this one I used a video as a refrence, since I definitely learn more when I do it that way and have more fun! As for the image quality, it's driving me insane the way my phone keeps lowering the resolution whenever I make gifs of my animations, so I apologise but this is the best I can do for now.
Just realised that I completely forgot to post the individual frames for this animation! I always feel a bit nervous posting the drawings like this, because there are always a couple that are a bit fudged and it makes it a lot easier for you guys to spot my weak points.

Gouache painting of a mountainous landscape featuring a horse and rider.
Reblogging this for new years since it has a wintery vibe and I still like it a lot.
Last painting of 2025, just a simple gouache study, but I liked how the shine on the coat turned out.
God jul!

A pacing Bactrian camel
My first time animating something other than a horse! I've mostly just been using working on this as a way to turn my brain off when I'm stressed out, so it's rather rough and not really as tidy as some of my other stuff, but I really enjoyed making it. I'm kind of obsessed with the range of motion they've got in the carpal joint and how it makes them look so back at the knee.
Still really happy with this animation.
Sture
Recent pet commission. Watercolour on paper with some gouache. I used an orange pencil for my initial sketch because it adds a nice depth to the colours.
