this one of the guardians hanging out in the park is cute, makes me miss the more down to earth moments in invincible, i thought it helped balance out the hype moments and aura

"Rudy is more Rex than Rex is." Is interesting because of Rex's past and what little choice he had in getting his powers. But do you think that someone who has the same DNA but none of the wear and tear, the lived experience that affects the body and mind (though your mind is part of your body) is closer to the core of that person? That just feels reductive.
Now something that I want to play in the ballpark of because it's interesting and angsty: "Rudy's clone is less Rudy than the original." It's what I was first thinking about when I saw that scene. When the Maulers didn't anticipate that their tech couldn't handle his brain. In those few seconds, could something have been lost? Probably not, because you might notice it, if it was something important. Would it be more terrifying if you could tell, or that you couldn't?
The brain is part of your body and your body remembers. Remembers that this was not always your body. The scars are still there as you grow and change. I guess in the end it's not a question of less or more, because you are always becoming something different.
