22. who was your childhood favourite music artist?

s club 7

because there ain't no party like an s club party

five-year-old me was obsessed

14. do you collect anything?

i usually say no but i've realised that's a lie! i collect postcards and books from museums, usually depicting whatever piece i liked the most

4. what type of shoes do you wear?

most of the time i wear trainers. just plain old nike or reebok trainers because i do a lot of walking. in the winter i will change to dm boots though because it rains too much

it's always a treat when i get to wear different shoes though

29. what’s the last outfit you wore?

other than my lazy shorts and t-shirt because it's too warm? yesterday i wore a pair of black, flowy cotton-linen trousers, a teal smashing pumpkins tee, and a pair of doc martens sandals. i like to be comfortable :)

39. what’s one feature you would change on tumblr?

i want to be able to restrict replies on individual posts, and set some reply/reblog options to followers/following/mutuals only

(i also really want them to stop changing the bloody dashboard!!!!)

40. what’s the most interesting item you own?

do i own anything interesting? maybe the piece of blue john i collected from a cave as a kid

a big bowl of vanilla skyr, chocolate granola, strawberries, and honey. it was delicious

25. would you get back together with an ex if given the opportunity?

hell no!!!! i haven't been in a relationship since i was 19 and i'm 32 now so i couldn't imagine getting back with any of my exes

35. if you could change your hair however you want, how would you change it?

i really want a bixie cut but it would not suit me!

12. what’s your favourite store to shop at? (online or irl)

my favourite shops are usually jewellery shops! i really like bonearrow for alt stuff and i’d love to visit their brick and mortar store in nottingham one day. alighieri is also really nice but a bit too expensive...

26. favourite kid’s show character?

i don’t know if i have a favourite but i loved velma from scooby doo as a kid. and now every time i have to look for my glasses i become her.

37. what’s an uncommon/specific /obscure topic you’re interested in?

changes to funerary practices and ideas of death in elizabethan and jacobean england. a bit grim but it’s been one of my main research interests for years
