sometimes i feel like my somatic symptom disorder diagnosis is bullshit and essentially a "we don't know what's wrong with you and also we don't really care" from the doctors because like. while it is true that when i miss my psych meds i feel way worse. it's also that even on them i still feel really really bad. and it isn't a problem of a specific medication either, because i tried, essentially, all that there is to try for chronic pain or anxiety. how can it be purely psychogenic if psychiatric meds don't help either? at this point i'd rather believe it's some kind of ancestral curse
