“Guess the ring’s size wasn’t noticeable. On the bright side, feel free to flirt with someone who’s not married — preferably by inquiring information first ; less troubles.”

“Aren’t you ever so helpful?”

“You should’ve seen that ring from a mile away. I would’ve- the rock is huge”

      “Didn’t know who was married?”

“You did not ask before you tried to do whatever it is you were planning to do?”

“That’d kill the mood. I wanted to just go for it.”

“If her husband comes in looking for vengeance—can’t say I won’t be positively amused.”

“I mean, I could take him out. It’s just time and effort, you know? You’ll let me hide behind you, right?”

“The ring on her hand didn’t ring any bells, or the tall husband next to her?”

“…Mmm…I think that’s the general idea of the ring on her finger. Not, uh, to mention how she’s practically sitting in his lap…”

“Good thing she’s not as pretty as you, then. It’d be a lot harder to let go.”

“Perfect reason to inquire before hitting on them.”

“And clearly looking for an out to said marriage.”

             “I am not some late night comedian that you can come and bother whenever you want. Define crazy.” Prescott inquired as he sat down on the opposite sofa of his brother. 

It was not simply the benefit of heightened senses that allowed him this luxury, but also the combined years of doing what he did best; waiting and watching for the perfect time to exterminate his mark. “Twat.” The word was countered as Rory placed himself beside Jakob, a smirk toying at his lips. “To say I missed you would be a far heightened exaggeration, brother. I would rather say I missed the Black Plague than to say I missed you.” It wasn’t the truth, far from it actually; for if there were any sibling that he would confess to missing, Rory would be near the top of the list. “It was a spontaneous visit. Wasn’t even certain I was going to be making it. Don’t worry, I’m sure you’ll make it up to me.”
