i think the underlying problem with an amount people who have adhd is that they are convinced they have the “i can’t do anything” disorder when in reality they have the “i can’t do things later” disorder. as a person with adhd i can assure you that we are more than capable of completing tasks, the caveat to this is that the task must be completed within 10 minutes of thinking about it or it won’t get done. that’s all it is, you have full control of your body(presumably) and thus, when you look around your room and think “man i need to clean my room”, your options are to stand up immediately and grab some clothes off the floor, or sit in your bed and let your defective frontal lobe create excuses as to why you can wait until later. if you have adhd you need to stand up the second you think of a task. also please take medication if you’re able.
