I really like the heavy opening, but also the lyrics in the softer section are very interesting, like who is holding you by the throat my guy? (Jumpsuit)
Levitating perhaps a metaphor for disassociation... perhaps
I rlly like the ones and zeros part (Morph)
Hmmm I wonder if Tyler feels kinda cornered and trapped rn idk maybe the overwhelming success is doing something to him idk just a thought /s
"I'll jump right in, and pull my pin" did get me I will admit (My Blood)
Not a big fan of Smithereens I'll be real
Neon Gravestones is the evilest song I've ever heard (in a good way, not in an I disagree way) it also stood out to me at first because of the interesting drum part at the start. I didn't cry but I like was close and that's wild
The Hype is groovy as hell, idk what's going on tho
Idk if this has anything to do with it but "I'm lighter when I'm lower, I'm higher when I'm heavy" makes think of buoyancy at different depths of water (Nico and the Niners)
Loving the synthy swells in Cut My Lip and "Lean on my pride, I'm a lion" is very cutesy
Of course I expected the "Sahlo Folina" to appear at some point but I had no idea that that whole section was in Bandito (working my way backwards so I heard Overcompensate first)
Okay what the fuck are we talking about, I get that the titular Pet Cheetah is probably a metaphor but like I fear that doesn't stop it being cringe
Lotta fun layering in Leave the City, I feel like I'll grow more fond of it over time, it's got some really good lyrics and dynamics
Over all I like it and I'm probably only going to like it more lets be real. I think the vulture as a symbol is really strong as a looming portent of death and also a malevolent spectator.
