christopher nolan and hans zimmer both piss me off irrationally like i hated them from get. hans gets shit rightfully for complicity in transphobia these days, i hated him before that and for no fucking reason at all. don’t even mind their respective works—i like lots of nolan films like memento, the prestige, the dark knight trilogy. hans zimmer scored two franchises i like. but both of them annoy me. So bad. i think it’s because of how hard people glaze them and how their fans think both the artists and they themselves are smarter than they actually are, how the artists have become brands and the brands have consumed themselves like it’s all a little… sterile to me. technical brilliance, sure, but idk. annoying.
