Hey I once had boyfriend who thought he was a vampire lol He had cardboard lining his windows because he claimed the sunlight weakened him and carved satanic sigils into his 50p wilko candles claiming they made him resistant to drinking human blood. He was also doing medical biology in Uni for the goal of achieving real life necromancy.

one of the best parts of the elder scrolls in my opinion is that they try to lore-explain all the gameplay changes like no levitation and cyrodiil not being a jungle anymore. they could easily just retcon shit but they choose to make up these convoluted explanations instead. i love it
