Introducing “The roots of the Violet Debonair” au! In this au Rodger injected himself with a mixture that turns him into this thing in order to drain the life energy out of plantinoids (a species that exists in this au) in order to save Toodles from a deadly disease. Spoiler: he actually saved Toodles.

More about the lore of this au and the plantinoids which are Goob, Scraps, Shrimpo and Glisten. Goob and his fellow plantinoids leave in a forest. However Goob wants to leave the forest and see what is going on outside of it. However Scraps forbids him to do that because of her believing that the life outside of their home is dangerous. At night when everyone were asleep, Goob actually leaves the forest and when he does he meets with the Violet Debonair. Goob gets scared by the Debonair and runs away, however Rodger (aka the Violet Debonair) chases after him. Goob returns to the forest and unintentionally wakes everyone up by accidentally stepping on a branch. Everyone wakes up and ask him about what happened. Unfortunately Goob didn’t have time to answer because Rodger already arrived to the place where the fluffy craft and the others were. The magnifying glass kills Scraps by draining all of her life energy out of her. He was also draining energy out of Shrimpo, but Glisten teleports to the shrimp in time and saves him. Because of that only a half of the said energy was drained out of Shrimpo and because of that the shrimp became very weak. Then Glisten teleports to Goob with Shrimpo, grabs him and runs away with the fluffy craft and the shrimp. Meanwhile Rodger returns home to cure his so called “daughter”. He gives Toodles the life energy of Scraps and Shrimpo’s half of the said energy. Then he turns into his normal form (he can shift between his forms in this au). Some time later Toodles gets cured and wakes up (the disease was so strong that it caused her to sleep all the time).
