hello tumblr! we were hoping u could help us out.

we're a band from south london called bears in trees. we're a little emo, but we're not too emo. we're a bit like if the jonas brothers got really into folk punk. we write songs about asthma attacks, working in a gay bar, drinking coffee before bed, feeling like you've ruined everything and everyone you've ever touched, and dealing constructively with depression. you can check us out here.

we really want to make a career out of this, and we're trying very, very hard. sadly steaming services like spotify pay like £0.00004 for a play (legit!) so no matter how well we do we never make enough money to like, actually live.

to that extent, we were hoping u could help by reading this and reblogging the post. it's a long shot, but if this gets enough reblogs then it will get recommended to more users and appear on more feeds and maybe get on tumblr's radar and we can use this post to pitch ourselves to a big fancy label exec and actually get paid a fair amount for an art.
