The most fundamental problem with all Hank Pym/Janet Van Dyne discourse posts is that the framework of their entire relationship is rooted in the specific gender politics of the 1960s, and given that most fans seem to want to ignore or gloss over all that because they either don’t understand it or it makes them uncomfortable, they come to conclusions that are at least some degree of missing the mark. There’s isn’t a dynamic that fully makes sense if you just try to “sliding timescale” everything under the rug.

This is 100% part of my thoughts as well. Especially the stance on people feeling comfortable by it, it just leads to a lot of lack of depth and nuance in the discussions. Cause people just want to ignore bits and pieces to write whichever narrative they have already decided exists, but everything is relevant and informs it.
