I've had this headcanon for Leo being a better chess player than Donnie for YEARS. It's actually an idea that I've planted and has done its rounds in the fandom in the years leading up to this. I'm glad I finally get to dive into it properly. This is going to be a much shorter story like my early Arcs for Replica but I just love little character studies such as these so please indulge me!

oh.mi.GOSH!!!!!! THIS IS SO BEAUTIFUL!! HOW LONG DID THIS TAKE YOU!! OMG I HAVE SO MANY WORDS! Shoutout to all the lovely AUs I see here. I think I spot @epicartnerd's OSNT AU, @saffron-slash's Doomed Baja Blast, @kathaynesart Replica AU, and some more who i can't put my finger on (and obviously the beloved CAS AU). You are a MASTER at storytelling and I can't believe I'm seeing my art along Cass's wonderful AU. I used to read their comic updates weekly as they were coming out in 2023 so this feels very surreal. Sunset duo is my absolute favorite so this makes my heart ache. I'm obsessed with the birds eye view of the boys, they're so itty bitty. If you wanted to pursue something with art and comics I would 100% say go for it because you had my attention from the very beginning and paced this very well. You have truly changed my week.
