headcanons for if they had hair:

leo would totally bleach his hair and maintain his roots while following everything his stylist tell him about his hair. he’s just built to be blond (cough cough that one episode cough cough). keeping your hair healthy and bleached is a difficult line to balance, but he’s a tightrope walker so it’s fine. he also convinced donnie to bleach his hair once with him a while ago. he’s a little jealous that mikey’s hair is healthier than his without putting in as much effort, but he just blames it on the bleach (it’s not, it’s the vitamin deficiencies). he’s also really proud of his length, which is by far the longest.

raph is the only one willing to do the boring chores of grocery shopping regularly, so his hair is a little sun bleached, but ultimately it was brunette anyway so he doesn’t mind. he also didn’t like when his hair got caught on his shell spikes, so he got an undercut, and ended up really liking it. does use 2-in-1 much to mikey and leo’s chagrin, but he really doesn’t understand what the big deal is lol

donnie is the worst at taking care of it due to hyperfixating on his projects and neglecting it, but once he got a hairstyle he actually really liked (instead of just tying it out of the way 24/7) it’s not usually a problem. usually. he also does like how he can dye it purple now after bleaching it and will be mourning his highlights or bleaching/dyeing it in secret (secret from leo, probably with mikey and/or april’s help). leo can never know, he’s annoying enough about twin things already (donnie’s just being bad at affection)

mikey’s hair is the healthiest because he takes care of it well and has the least vitamin deficiencies from being the chef of the house. dr. feelings knows how important hair is to self-image and self-esteem so he does like to style his and his brothers’ hair and will forcibly wash their hair for them if they’ve been neglecting it for too long (think raph after being left alone and going savage, or donnie after a month of hyperfixating on mystic powers, or leo while he’s still recovering after the krangg and he let his roots grow out (which means he’s really not feeling well) so mikey makes a day out of touching it up for him)

all in all tho mikey is the only one with hair tho so the rest are just vibes/not real (unless?) (leo would be so jealous lmao)
